Presented for sale today is a McCoy pottery planter from the Rustic Line produced circa 1945. Sea mist green & brown in a satin finish features a pine cone motif. This s done in beautiful light & dark shades of green or aqua & cinnamon brown. The pine cones, boughs & needles are embossed in a raised relief design & have a great deal of detail. The McCoy name is embossed into the bottom. This planter is 75 years old & there is a hairline inside as pictured but it doesn't appear to go through. The planter is respectable as is on the outside but could be easily sealed with glue to seal up the hairline for use as a planter. There is a chip in one corner & one inconspicuously on the base rim. This planter is priced accordingly. This is a wonderful piece of vintage McCoy Pottery that you are sure to want to use & add to your collection.
