This listing is for two cups & two saucers in "Azalea," one of Noritake's most popular patterns since it was first produced in 1918. The "Azalea" pattern features bold azalea blossoms on a branch on one side of the bowls & a gold trim. All pieces were hand-painted. The backmarks on these pieces indicate production between 1934 & 1941 (red mark). These cups & saucers are in very good vintage used condition; light utensil marks & minor wear to the trim. Approximate dimensions - Cup: 3-5/8" across; 2-1/8" tall Saucer: 5-1/2" diameter Capacity: 5 ounces I have other pieces available in "Azalea," including cups & saucers with an earlier backmark & similar but not identical images. l offer for sale a wide variety of china, dinnerware & pottery.
