Our tiles fountains come from the Moroccan city of Fez, which is known for its mosaic craftsmanship. The ornaments of the fountain surface are put together from individual mosaic pieces of different shapes, colors & sizes in a complex & fascinating procedure. Whether as an indoor or garden fountain, our mosaic fountains are suitable for both indoor & outdoor use. The fountain is equipped with an electric pump & stands on three rollers. The Fountain is made by Resin not cement so to not come heavy. NB : PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COVER IT FROM HEAVY SNOW & FROST ( The Fountain is not frost-proof.) Firstly, we take it from a place called "Ben Jellik".Then, we let it dry in front of the sun. After three weeks, we break it into small pieces with a hammer & let it dry for an other whole day. Then We put it in the water for two days & clean it from rocks & unwanted materials. This process can only be done in Fez as it's the sunniest city in Morocco. & Voila, the Clay is ready for use & we can shape it into any handmade products we want. Afterwards, we cook it for 8 hours in a temperature of 2000oC. & now the fun part is begun. We start painting the products with natural based colors that are taken from natural resources. Even brushes used are made from horses hair. When we finish, we put some products to make them shiny & re-cook them for an other 8 hours in a traditional oven. We double baked the handmade products to make them ready for daily use & insensitive to water. You can put hot or cold water in them with no worries. Please take a look to our store.
