This listing is for the rug hooking PATTERN, Patience is a Virtue, carefully drawn by me on primitive linen. This design measures 36" x 45 1/2". All border lines are drawn straight with the grain of the fabric. Borders are approximately 3 1/2 to 4 inches wide & have serged edges. A color photo of hooked rug will be included. This listing is for the pattern only. My sweet mother used to quote this old saying to me with a twinkle in her eye. I knew I wanted to put it on a rug, but I had to mull on it for several years, then draw & re-draw until I came up with this fun & whimsical design. I hooked the pictured rug with size 6 to 9 strips.
