A nice handled studio pottery crystalline vase made by Northwest studio potter Dan Ishler of Oak Harbor, Washington. Dan attended Alfred University in the mid 1970's & has been a studio potter for over 40 years working with a variety of glazes & techniques. This interesting ceramic vase has small rounded handles on each side with a nice brown crystalline glaze that has random round crystals on the sides with a creamy pale background. The handles are finely crafted & applied on each side. It measures 8.5" tall by 4.5" wide at the handles by 3" deep. The side near one end is signed Ishler in the clay. The condition is nice & original on this finely crafted studio pottery vase. It would compliment your Northwest studio pottery collection rather nicely.
