Each is joined with a steel & silver-tone tie pin & clutch with t-bar chain Securely attached with aircraft grade bonding/jeweler's cement. Reverse side additionally coated in resin to help prevent damage while wearing or if dropped Please allow for slight variations in color, shape & size of the stones. Each fossil is unique! A tie tack is snazzy tie jewelry with fun & function - pin to your tie to keep it from swaying & add an unforgettable decorative accent to your outfit. Insert the T-bar through the third buttonhole on your shirt. Push the pointed post through your tie Insert the post into the clutch hanging from the chain. Such stones were formed as a result of glaciation, in which sheets of ice plucked stones from the bedrock, grinding off their rough edges & depositing them in the northwestern portion of Michigan's lower peninsula.
