When combined with the two-bucket method used by many professionals (one bucket of water to clean the mitt, one bucket with soapy water to load the mitt with suds), the bucket insert significantly reduces the chance of swirls, scratches, or marring from the wash process. The bucket insert also works great with a single bucket for quick wash-ups. For best results, turn the Grant's Dirt Guard Bucket Insert sideways until fully submerged when first inserting it into your bucket filled with water.
