Reptiles need UVA and UVB to thrive in their environment, and this light helps maintain reptile vision and benefits overall health. In addition, UVA bulbs help to provide the radiant heat your ectothermic pet requires. It also promotes calcium absorption and healthy bones, and spurs production of vitamin D, just like sunlight (but without radiant heat).
