The Blue Flame Angled Propane Gas Log Lighter has been keeping the hearth warm for over 60 years. During use of the Blue Flame Log Lighter, pollution in the air is reduced by 50%. The angled propane log lighter has a 30 in. pipe with a 3 in. air/gas mixing chamber (end-to-end measurement is 33 in.). The mixing chamber is a 90-degree angle for gas line connections that come up from the floor of the fire box. The 3/8 in. pipe end opposite the mixing chamber is plugged and threaded to accommodate a leg support (not available from Blue Flame). The Blue Flame lighter "shutter" attached to the air/gas mixing chamber can be opened or closed to allow more or less air into the mixing chamber to help create a bluer, hotter fire. Gas can be turned off once your wood logs are fully ignited.
