Donations will be made directly from NHL to the National Hockey League Foundation - a US 501(c)(3) tax-exempt private foundation - and towards the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative which supports multiple organizations, including the V Foundation, American Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society and others.
