The Bell Star MIPS DLX Helmet has a Lightweight TriMatrix Composite Shell which is constructed of Aramid, Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass which is a strong and lightweight as a full carbon fiber helmet, but at a friendlier price. The Star MIPS DLX also features the "Multi-Directional Impact Protection System", also known as MIPS. Using four elastomeric bands that connect it to the outer liner, providing a few millimeters of movement in all directions.
