We have been reproducing plate racks since 1993, increasing our styles and offerings, but never changing our methods. We build our racks just like they did 200 years ago – to be used on a daily basis, laden with dishes and such. 1. We install an integral hanging brace at the back of the plate rack under the top shelf. 2. All of our shelves are cut in, not tacked to the side panels, which in essence, makes the rack a solid crate. The combination of these two details allow for weight disbursement and stability even if the rack is hung unevenly. Ensuring longevity and dependability; just like the ones made so many years ago.
