The University of Tennessee Volunteers ended their 15 year losing streak against the Alabama Crimson Tide with a stunning 52-49 victory at Neyland Stadium. As the final seconds ticked away, UT kicker Chase McGrath stepped up to the plate and drilled a 40 yard field goal to secure the win for the Volunteers.As soon as the ball sailed through the uprights, the stands erupted in celebration. Over 100,000 fans rushed onto the field, fireworks lit up the sky, and the UT fight song blared through the speakers. It was a moment of pure joy and triumph for the Volunteers, who had not beaten a top 10 team since 2006.The game was a back and forth affair, with both teams trading blows and scoring touchdowns. UT quarterback Hendon Hooker had a standout performance, completing 21 of 30 passes for 385 yards and 5 touchdowns. Jalin Hyatt also had a record-setting night for the Volunteers, catching 6 passes for 207 yards and 5 touchdowns.For the Crimson Tide, quarterback Bryce Young had a strong outing, completing 35 of 55 passes for 455 yards and 2 touchdowns.
