These 18.25" X 18.25" (16.75 X16.75 blocking area) blocking board is perfect for wet blocking crochet and knit squares. The holes are spaced out 1/2 of an inch using a CNC machine, allowing you greater sizing adjustment. These blocking boards are available in several wood species. These are a natural, wood product, so each board is unique, due to wood grain patterns, knots, etc.Unlike boards made with bamboo and plywood, natural hardwoods won't separate over time like plywood blocking boards. Hardwoods also have a lower environmental impact than bamboo which is mainly glue and bamboo fibers.Overall board is 18.25" X 18.25".
