John Golden became a professional artist at 11 with linoleum block prints, and at the ripe old age of 14, he released pen-and-ink images of North Carolina lighthouses. Later, while earning his degree in graphic design, Golden studied photography, and developed his painting and illustration skills. Golden creates rustic, endearing images of dogs and fish, using a computer to generate most of his imagery. He has worked on projects for major cable networks such as the Cartoon Network, Animal Planet, HGTV and TNT, and owns a multimedia design company.
