She originallystudied Biology and Psychology and only started painting professionally in 1985. In 1998 Susan was made a member of R01 and in 1988 the Royal Society of British Artists. Impressively, Susanhas exhibited at the Royal Academy summer exhibition for the last seventeen years. Susanhadher first London one man show in 2008. She currently lives in Yorkshire with her husband and has four grown-up children.
