MacArthur Place in Sonoma, California was drawn as part of a series of work created en plein air (on location) during a short term artist residency. The series depicts a myriad of facades, details, & vignettes of the lush, historic property. This is the facade of Burris house, a historic building on the property, drawn straight on from across the street to capture the symmetry of the house. The tall trunk of the tree with it's canopy of leaves adds interest to the composition. Take a close look & you will see details including the picket fence, MacArthur sign & the lines of the building siding. Drawing prints form this series make thoughtful wedding, anniversary & travel gifts as well as a meaningful addition to a home or office decor. The drawings also work well paired with other California or MacArthur Place plein air prints as a gallery wall. All drawings are scanned at high resolution & printed to order on beautiful, natural white tone, semi smooth, acid free paper. All print size options can be placed in standard size mats & frames. Prints are initialed in pencil on the front in the lower right of the image & signed, titled & dated on the back.
