Description
This luxurious art nouveau pendant is rendered in lush 15k yellow gold & set with seed pearls & impossibly purple amethysts. The pendant evokes classic Art Nouveau visual impact: the design flows like ribbons of gold, with molten fluidity drawing the eye to take in each detail. Each intense amethyst is claw set meticulously & both seed pearls are tiny & a perfect, punctuating the richness of the gold wonderfully. The pendant itself is marked "15ct" & is finished with a simple bale that may be a replacement, with a differing "15c" mark than the body. It's possible that the mark of the bale is simply incomplete, but it is more likely a later replacement in my opinion. AGE: Antique c. 1910s CONDITION: Offered in mint antique condition.
