One of the favored glaze effects of ancient monks, crystallization suspended in the iron-rich Tenmoku glaze gives a yellow dusting similar to tea dust. It holds approximately 14 ounces. It stands approximately 4 inches tall & 3.5 inches wide. This tea bowl has been fired in a cone 10 (2350oF) reduction firing, making it an especially sturdy & durable ceramic capable of lasting thousands of years. Dishwasher, microwave, & food-safe.
