This Bargello needlepoint cushion is completely hand stitched & finished, using a mix of pure wool & acrylic yarn. Fine Needlecord was used for the envelope style back. It is a traditional Bargello pattern but brought up to date by the retro colour selection. There is a touch of the 1970s Op Art style about it. I start with a blank canvas & it took approximately 30 hours to complete. This is a one off. It measures 17ins x 17ins.
