Casserole / Baking Dish with Tall Sides - Wood Fired Stoneware Pottery My work is stoneware pottery, wheel thrown or slab rolled, with handmade additions then fired in our wood fired kiln over a 36 hour period. The intent of my work is to be used & enjoyed daily by bringing beautiful colors, strong form, & function to people's lives. Each of the items I create bears the markings of the artistry of the wood firing process. Areas of high gloss, matte sheen, sometimes a metallic sparkle, small flecks, a slight wobble, etc. are all hallmarks of a woodfired piece.
