Alaska holds a special place in my heart. My dad loved Alaska. He spent his young adult life flying in Alaska, & dreamed of taking me when I finished college. I never got to visit with him though. A few years ago I took a trip in honor of him, & I was blown away by its beauty. The layers of mountains surrounding me in every direction. The sky fading to dark as the sun set over the horizon. I think about Alaska almost everyday. Being in Alaska feels like a hug from my dad. This collection is in honor of my dad, & the beautiful state of Alaska. ABOUT POLYMER CLAY Polymer clay earrings are ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHT. Each pair weighs less than an ounce, even our largest styles. They feel so light on your ears, you forget they are on. POSTS Most of our posts are either 304 stainless steel (post attached to clay top) or gold plated stainless steel (ball posts, hooks, hoops, etc.). Do not let your earrings sit in water or extreme heat. Polymer clay is meant to be bendable, but to insure the durability of your pieces, do not excessively bend or stress the pieces. Charms: We use brass & gold plates charms for our pieces. Gold plated should not need polishing, but brass tarnishes over time. Polishing your charms is easy! Ketchup, tomato paste, & tomato sauce all work well. Apply a layer to your brass & leave it on for a few minutes. Then wash with warm water & dish soap. Let it dry. Handmade polymer clay earrings.
