Another comfortable lounge chair by design god, Hans J. Wegner. The Model J-16 was produced by FDB Møbler beginning in 1944 & was sold for many years. Currently still produced by Frederica for around $4,000. The frame of this chair is made of solid Beech wood, with a danish paper cord woven seat. The chair rocks flawlessly. FDB Makers mark under the armrest with a Made in Denmark stamp. Condition: Minor finish scratches are present occasionally but do not detract from the beauty of the chair or effect its function. The cording on the chair is in tact & structural, however shows minor signs of age. Vintage furniture is never free from minor wear & this is no exception.
