IDOLS, ACROSS HISTORY SERIES This is an original linocut print, limited edition of 60. Series inspired by my love for Art & History. This design is based on real prehistoric sculptures from the Iberian Peninsula dated circa 3000BC. This print has been hand-carved on lino from an original drawing. After hand-inking, I use a beautiful Victorian book press to complete the process. All prints are numbered & signed. Printed with Cranfield oil based ink in burgundy, forest green & mustard yellow colours onto 190gsm acid free semi-smooth paper. The paper has been hand-dyed to create a light blue & cream hue to the original designs printed in green & burgundy ink respectively. Please note that each print is completely unique so speckling & print finishes may vary slightly from the photos. The same applies to the tones in colour.
