Nestled in the Adirondacks of northeastern New York, stretching over 32 miles, & backdrop of many bucolic summertime memories, this is the gorgeous Lake George. The original Iroquois name for the lake was Andia-ta-roc-te, which meant "where the lake is closed in by mountains" a fitting name for this postcard perfect oasis. This is an original, layered papercut piece, handmade in Minnesota, in your choice of colors, & featuring the beautiful Lake George. This unique piece is intricately cut from five layers of high quality, acid-free cardstock. The top layer represents the land, while the layers underneath, in ever-darker shades of color, reveal the depths of the ocean beneath. Because this piece is handmade, it will differ very slightly from piece pictured here. The back is titled, signed & dated as an original piece. The work measures 8 x 10 inches (about 20 x 25 cm), & is about 1/8" thick. It will be sent to you carefully wrapped & supported to ensure it arrives safely.
