Archival giclee print of the traditional Italian pasta dish : "Cacio e Pepe " originated in the region of Lazio, specifically in the city of Rome. The name "Cacio e Pepe" translates to "cheese & pepper". It typically consists of only three ingredients: Pasta, Pecorino Romano cheese, & Black Pepper.
