The surface of this band is defined by the arrangement of the sand it is cast in. The face is unfinished to maintain a light diffusing almost matt finish which is framed by a mirror shine from the inside of the ring. This piece is subtle & incredibly beautiful. However I take every effort to maintain continuity with band profile & levels of texture so the ring you receive is as close as possible to the example photo. While WoodenGold rings are super durable for daily use, I do recommend taking the ring off for heavy duty activities such as hard labour or weight lifting to avoid surface damage.
