Our Victorian Ash Chopping Board is a versatile board, useful for presenting food, or preparing food. Each board features two pieces of timber glued together with food-safe glue & then is finished by hand to produce a board beautifully crafted to adorn any kitchen. The design also features a leather handle at one end, which is both practical & stylish. They are a great addition to any home kitchen, & are also a thoughtful gift for someone who loves to entertain. Each board is completely unique due to the natural variations in the timber, & items will differ slightly to the images shown. Jemmervale Designs take great pride in the craftsmanship of all our pieces. Our timber is hand selected for each item out of sustainably-sourced Victorian Ash. All our products are designed by us, handmade by us & lovingly packaged by us. DIMENSIONS: 31cm W x 39cm L x 3.3cm H CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wipe the board down after each use with warm soapy water. Do not submerse the board in water. Do not place your board in a dishwasher nor leave it to soak in water. To maintain your board, it will need re-oiling with a food-safe wood treatment oil when required. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please note that all our timber is hand selected for each board, however as Victorian Ash timber is a natural material it will vary in both colour & grain to the photos above. Features of Victorian Ash include fiddleback markings & visible gum veins. The timber may also range from a pale straw colour to a slight pink tone to a golden hue. As with all natural materials, Victorian Ash is affected by light & overtime the character & colour will change slightly. These natural features are a unique & beautiful characteristic of the timber. Please also keep in mind timber can expand & contract due to varying temperature & environmental conditions in your home.
