Beautiful & rare hanpainted antique jewelry box from the French Napoleon III era. Circa 1880-1920. The cute tiny box is made of rosewood & is handpainted on the top with flowers & Paris. The inside of the box is made of the prettiest mint blue color tufted silk with silver shades. The state of the box is very good to excellent & the handpainting is very beautiful & still owns a thin layer of varnish. The state of the tufted silk is very good to excellent, the silk is very beautifully preserved & the mint blue color is mesmerizing. Some very tiny dots but no rips are to be stated. The key is missing but the lock is working. Get in touch with me if you wish to purchase this box with a working key, I may be able to find one for you.
