Bennett & Son Completed: 1965 Status: Grade II Listed Brief Overview: Forton Services opened in 1965 with its Pennine Tower- the large hexagonal tower similar to an Air Traffic Control Centre- which is 74ft across at the top. Originally the Tower housed an upmarket restaurant & sun deck, but was closed to the public in 1989 due to fire regulations. The Tower was Listed in 2012, & is a prominent & much love local landmark. Please note: Our concrete sculptures are individually hand cast in solid concrete. This means that each piece will have distinctive markings & minor blemishes due to air bubbles in the concrete.
