ABOUT THE ARTIST A native Ohioan, Michelle began her career as an artist with earnest intent after her kindergarten teacher told her she was gifted in art. Instead of a lemonade stand she set up a stand to sell her hand-painted rocks, neighbors loved her original creations. Today she lives in a lakeside town, where after a day of illustrating she can often be found dreaming up canvas paintings during sunset at her quaint lake cottage.
