My small bird series has been inspired by colourful exotic birds from around the world. The Sulphur Crested Cockatoo is one of the largest of the Cockatoo family. They are widespread throughout northern & eastern Australia & New Guinea. Cockatoos are curious & highly intelligent birds. Wooded areas are their natural habitat, but they are often kept as pets. They have a 'least concern' conservation status.
