Palm Island Ring A dazzling gem of emerald green sea glass is framed within an oxidized ring of silver to create this unique ring. The sea glass pebble comes from England; a source of much of my sea glass finds. It's brilliant!and now set in silver the pebble takes on an inner glow. This ring is very substantial; it's entirely hand made using recycled fine & sterling silver. The circular setting measures about 7/8" in diameter & sits atop a substantial ( 3/16" thick) band of hammered sterling silver that has been lightly oxidized. This well made ring fits a finger size of 8. Comes to you very nicely gift boxed. OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE: Not your size? How to tell imitation sea glass from genuine sea glass: Imitation sea glass tends to have a very uniform surface texture. Real sea glass often has small pits & pores in the glass that result from the glass being in a salty ocean environment. All the sea glass I use is authentic & unaltered; it has not been tumbled or created by artificial means. It takes many decades for glass shards to be transformed into beautiful sea glass pebbles & the element of time combined with the rarity of some colors is what make sea glass precious & collectible.
