Each bag is hand made from 100% UK sourced Tyrolean raw wool which is resilient to wear & tear & is ecological & sustainable to produce. Our bags are made from nonwoven textiles with no stitching & are felted in one piece to form the bag shape. The felting process uses hot water, organic high quality olive soap & 16/24 hours of hard work & a lot of love & care. This really is how long it takes to make one of our Onstail bags! Because of the natural self-cleaning ability of the wool, our bags do not have to be washed which has a positive impact on the environment, however they can be gently washed by hand with a damp cloth with warm soapy water.
