Modification or rewiring is a MUST for North America buyers before hanging the chandelier. USA & Canada use E12 candelabra base. You can use socket reducer adapter. This adapter will reduce the socket from your chandelier/fixture from a European (E14) size to the smaller Candelabra (E12) size socket. So you will be able to use a bulb that has a candelabra (E12) base in your fixture that has a European (E14) socket. The adapter is widely available online or at hardware store near you. Otherwise, REWIRING IS REQUIRED. The installation of bulbs is by removing the half round part at chandelier bottom.
