The Portrait Prospector - Custom Letterpress Printed Calling Cards TYPE & LAYOUT: The Portrait Prospector, also available in a horizontal oriented version, is a well balanced center justified card that's easily adapted to accommodate different lengths & amounts of contact information. The name font, set in Quarto Bold, gives this card a striking look. Its glyphs are very heavy, but also well contrasting & unique among other display typefaces. The info text is set in Assistant, which adds nice legibility & balance. All of our cards at Hoban Press are individually laid out with an eye on general tracking & kerning between character combinations. Each calling card is hand fed & individually printed, on a 1945 Chandler & Price letterpress.
