Upper Peninsula tile is crafted from porcelain & hand dipped in Rick's specially formulated glaze. All of our tiles are handmade in our Michigan studio. Sculpted by Rick. There is a notch on back for hanging, yet if you wish to install, it's also suitable for that too. If used outdoors in freezing temperatures, just make sure to keep it vertical. We donate a percentage of each tile sold to one of the organizations listed on the 'Community' page of our website. Check it out on whistlingfrog.net. It's feel good time! How's it made? Sculpt the original design, make plaster mold, press in clay, wait to dry, fire in kiln, glaze, fire again to about 2230 degrees. Cool. Ship to your doorstep. Yay!
