Extremely rare Danish mid century modern designer set includes a rosewood coffee table with two black fabric nesting cushions was designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen, produced by Interna of Denmark. Original label intact. This iconic item inspired the Ligne Roset Dixit coffee table, a square coffee table in dark brown with a solid oak cross base. It comes with 4 matching seats that can be comfortably used as ottomans or additional seating, & which fit neatly underneath the table. The item for sale is the original & is constructed of high end wood with impeccable construction characteristic of mid-century furniture. DIMENSIONS W 39.5" L: 39.5" H: 14" CONDITION Good vintage condition with very light scratches on the table as expected for age. There was some damage to the bottom corner of one of the "legs" that has been repaired & is pretty well hidden. The price has been substantially reduced to account for the repaired spot. Table has been cleaned & oiled, cushions are in perfect condition. Please see all photos.
