This fine art landscape photography print of mine features a tiny village of Saksun, Faroe Islands. I was able to spend some time on the Faroe Islands thanks to a chance. I was on my way home after a 6-month stay in Iceland. There was a severe storm & the ferry had to stop on the Faroe Islands for one day. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't use this time to explore this spectacular archipelago. I took this photograph in the idyllic village of Saksun, where a bunch of farmhouses are located on the hill by a stunning waterfall. I framed this image in such a way, that you can easily immerse yourself in this scene. Your eye follows the river & a bunch of farmhouses to the sunlit mountain in the background.
