By that I mean the world we pay attention to & pour our energy into. We are just a whisper on the wind of time. All around us are the "ancestors" of this place we call home. The formations & forms that have spanned entire millenniums. The seem to have voices too. Different from ours obviously. But they are there & we, are here. Worlds apart & yet connected. & I do not think they mind if we do not pay attention since we will, in every case, be gone sooner than later & they will, with few exceptions, remain long after we are gone. Our voice, so strong & loud & righteous & immediate, will die away & theirs, maybe no more than a murmur, will survive.
