This desk ships in two pieces that bolt together in minutes, eliminating any challenges presented with getting around tight corners, doorways, stair wells, elevators, etc. The long side of the "L" is actually a stand alone desk or table, with the return bolting to the main frame with just four bolts. The tops arrive attached to the base. Simply adjust the tension of the screws on both sides of the L to ensure level surface.
