Inspiration for this lamp came from Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing of the Archimedean solid truncated icosahedron. Hence the name 'Atlante', as a homage to the famous renaissance genius & his studies such as 'Codice Atlantico'. The truncated icosahedron is actually an all too famous solid as it is the shape of the soccer ball. I have three kinds of ceiling cover available. Covers & lampholder covers can be spray painted to match the cable colour you choose. Please contact me before or after purchasing your lamp to let me know the type of cover you prefer & the colour. I m proud to be able to say that my woodshop is of the everything is made from scratch kind, truly handmade! I don't have use for plywood in my shop. I only use natural hardwood I can make this lamp of any kind of wood. I propose three kinds here: ash, oak, walnut. However, if you have a particular request don't hesitate to contact me.
