"Land & Sky" Botanical giclee art print Cyanotype printing is an alternative photography process that uses sunlight to expose the image. I developed a way of taking the traditional cyanotype process & altering the process so that instead of a normal blue & white print, I could get varied shades of blue, green, sometimes even yellow creeps in. Instead of the end goal of a very tidy & neat blue & white cyanotype, the end goal is a unique, completely imperfect print. My images will not have precise clear lines. Any blurring or pixelation you may see is part of the original image, as I use printed transparencies & unconventional methods, & scan the original prints at 600 dpi. The original prints are typically smaller than 8 x 10, so every detail becomes magnified as the image is enlarged. This print is made to order & ships separately from Printful; please allow 7-8 business days for processing. The print you will receive will NOT be framed or matted; the photo is for display purposes only. It will come rolled up & wrapped in tissue paper inside a cardboard mailing cylinder. If you leave the print on a flat surface for a few days it will flatten on its own; otherwise you can put heavy books on top to hasten the process.
