The waves washing over the world & the energy they bring & move. Sometimes there is a fury to it & sometimes it is as gentle & comforting as a mother to a small child. With this image I wanted to convey that "swallowing" ability of the ocean. The way it dwarfs a person, even with our myriad of problems & damages. . . we are so small in it's presence. in this case, the figure is either gathering dreams or releasing the ones that she is letting go of & those that are outdated. Either way, the statement is the same. The magic of the water, the tides working & churning up in their never ending dance while we are just a small fraction of that motion in time.
