As with all my items, construction is 100% solid hardwood. Never any plywood, MDF, particleboard or veneer, nor any low-grade softwoods like pine or poplar. My items always feature the kind of high quality materials & workmanship you can bring into your home with pride. This is the deluxe version including turntable isolation platform, aluminum isolation discs & color-coordinated leg tips. I've found the isolation platform to be a huge help preventing albums from skipping with my own sound system at home but also I think the platform looks superb in combination with the metal bling. Minimalist version without the platform can be found at a reduced price in a separate listing. Leg tips & platform discs are satin nickel. Finish is 3 coats of oil & beeswax. This kind of traditional hand rubbed finish provides the richness & vibrancy you see in the images as well as a silky, natural feel. No heavy, plasticized finishes here. Choose from several standard cabinet widths as shown in the drop-down menu. Custom sizes & configurations also welcome, just contact me with your measurements for a quote. Other standard dimensions as follows. Total height as shown approx 27". Outside cabinet depth 17". Platform depth 15.5". Height inside the box 13.5". Width of component section 20". Depth of component section 16". Component shelf height is adjustable up & down in increments of approx 1.25" via moveable supports & pre-drilled holes. Shelf may be removed if not needed. A solid wood back panel is included behind the component section. A hole is provided for wires & the component shelf is notched to allow wiring from above & below. Made to order in about 6 weeks. Photos show a good example of what you can expect but given the nature of the material it should also be expected that color & grain will vary to some extent.
