The letters of the alphabet are laser engraved on wooden tiles with arrows indicating the direction of writing. The child learns to write them by tracing them with a special instrument (included). This product is inspired by the School of Maria Montessori & is meant to be used before starting to write with pen an paper. The set includes a stylus, a special tool that fits in the child's hand as a writing tool, but does not scratch the tiles & preserves them as new. These alphabet tracing tiles will help improve correct formation, motor memory & helps increase pressure for sustainable writing. They are a great alternative to the alphabet tracing board as you can actually use 1 set with large groups of kids (I can send you more than 1 stylus, just message me!)
