The "Urbs in Horto" series celebrates Chicago's Park District through illustrated scenes. The series' name comes from Chicago's own motto, meaning "City in a Garden" in Latin. The Wicker Park print features the "Gurgoyle Fountain", so named for the goat-like gargoyles that spout water. Wicker Park itself was first created in the 1870's & the fountain was made in the early 1890's. Wicker Park is at the center of the namesake neighborhood off Damen Avenue. Vibrant 4.25" x 5.5" cards.
