This intaglio is a drawing from a photograph I took when did a road trip from the Bay Area to Las Vegas in 2012, crossing the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This intaglio printmaking process is called Etching, I work with a cooper plate & etch it in acid. The Aquatint process is the second step to achieve the half tones.
