The rustic, natural texture left by the grain of sand balance the shine into a characterful & charming band. The design of the piece comes from the foundry process that makes it. However I take every effort to maintain continuity with band profile & levels of texture so the ring you receive is as close to the example photo as possible. While WoodenGold rings are super durable for daily use, I do recommend taking the ring off for heavy duty activities such as hard labour or weight lifting to avoid surface damage.
