Stylish Irish whiskey barrel bottle opener beautifully presented in a natural box with our logo stamped on top. Included is a small card with a brief story of the history of the barrel. This bottle opener has been carved from a recycled Irish whiskey barrel stave. Cut to shape with beautifully rounded edges, sanded to a silky smooth finish & polished with my own handmade wood polish. The metal component is stainless steel so it won't rust if it gets a little beer overflow. My bottle opener has been perfected over the years & has evolved to the brilliant piece of engineering that you see. Simple, effective & beautiful! The wood is carefully selected to showcase the stunning grain pattern, medullary rays & unique whiskey stain which shows up as a darker shadow line in the oak. I've created my own wood polish that is a blend of local beeswax (from a mates beehive) & Irish organic linseed oil. My wood polish intensifies the wood grain unlocking its warm, rich colour & giving the wood back its wonderful depth. It also creates a protective moisture barrier which will keep your cufflinks looking like new.
